Meeting Overview:

• New Business: 
  • Courtney Wentworth, Wellpoint, on DOT updates to medical providers. View “Questions when Scheduling a DOT Physical” and Workwell’s “DOT Update Form“.
  • Committee Co-chairs Ken Borlie and Britney Guggisberg discussed the updates to the CSSGA safety recognition program.
• Safety Subcommittee Update:
  • Members of the Safety Subcommittee enlisted help from the Safety Committee members in coming up with questions for the Annual Refresher’s MSHA Trivia Game.
• Round Table Discussion:

    • The 2014 Pro-cycling Challenge Oversize/Overweight Restrictions was reviewed
    • Members were reminded to file Form 2290 Annual Renewal by 8/31/14
  • MSHA:
    • Bill York-Feirn will be entering CSSGA’s Safety Training DVDs in the upcoming MSHA National Materials Competition
    • Members noted that recent inspections have focused a great deal on ladders, contractors, and task training
