Meeting Overview:

• New Business: Sonja Guenther of Willis gave a presentation titled “Understanding Your Workers’ Compensation Experience Mod Factor and Its Relationship to Safety”.
• Safety Subcommittee Update:
  • The Safety Subcommittee met after the Committee meeting and discussed the Annual Refresher Training DVD. They plan to have this finished by the end of the year.
• Old Business: NTR
• Round Table Discussion:
  • Colorado Contractors Association’s Terry Kish reviewed the Work Zone Safety Week
  • Bill York-Feirn reminded the membership of the MSHA training that will be taking place at the end of May at the Association’s offices.
  • The Committee agreed on the following speakers and topics for the upcoming meetings:
    • July 15: Megan Meagher, OSHA and Our Rights
