2019 MSHA Roundtable

The Colorado Stone, Sand & Gravel Association’s (CSSGA) Safety Committee held a roundtable discussion with the Rocky Mountain District Mine Safety Health Administration (MSHA) officials, Pete Del Duca and Lee Hughes, on September 12. The group discussed:

• 2019-2020 MSHA regulatory agenda and priorities
• Implementation of Workplace Exam Rule
• MSHA One Initiative
• RFI for Silica Dust
• Current problem areas observed during inspections

15 CSSGA members participated with a goal of continuing open lines of communication with MSHA.
