Former Colorado Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (CSSGA) Board President, Gayle Lyman, was dedicated to supporting students pursuing degrees in or applicable to the aggregate, construction management, or mining industries. The leadership of CSSGA is honored to offer a scholarship of up to $2,500 for the 2021-2022 academic year, payable in two installments, in Mr. Lyman’s honor.
The application must be completed and returned to CSSGA by Friday, June 4, 2021.
Eligibility requirements for applicants:
Applicant must attend a post secondary institution of higher education within the State of Colorado or attend a technical or trade school.
Applicant must have an emphasis or major in a mining, aggregate, or construction industry related field.
Applicant must be a student in good standing and a transcript must be provided with the application (cumulative GPA 3.0 or above is recommended).
All applications are due by June 4, 2021. The CSSGA Board of Directors will then select the scholarship finalist in June. The scholarship finalist will then be asked to attend a subsequent Board Meeting to formally receive recognition of the scholarship.
