Apply for the Gayle Lyman Memorial Scholarship to Receive $1,000 towards Your Education!
Former Colorado Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (CSSGA) Board President, Gayle Lyman, was dedicated to supporting students pursuing degrees in or applicable to the aggregate, construction management, or mining industries. The leadership of CSSGA is honored to offer a scholarship of up to $1,000 for the 2019-2020 academic year, payable in two installments, in Mr. Lyman’s honor.
The application must be completed and returned to CSSGA by Friday, May 31, 2019.
Eligibility requirements for applicants:
- Applicant must attend a post secondary institution of higher education within the State of Colorado or attend a technical or trade school.
- Applicant must have an emphasis or major in a mining, aggregate, or construction industry related field.
- Applicant must be a student in good standing and a transcript must be provided with the application (cumulative GPA 3.0 or above is recommended).
All applications are due by May 31, 2019. The CSSGA Board of Directors will then select the scholarship finalist in June. The scholarship finalist will then be asked to attend a subsequent Board Meeting to formally receive recognition of the scholarship.
