The Colorado Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (CSSGA) hosted the bi-annual Mine Safety Health Administration (MSHA) Regulatory Roundtable on August 17. The meeting served as a way to clearly understand MSHA’s initiatives, priorities and areas of emphasis while creating open dialogue with industry. Three MSHA representatives joined the meeting: David Weaver, district manager, Dustan Crelly, assistant district manager, and Eric Johnson, assistant manager. The MSHA team distributed a document highlighting accidents and near misses over the past few months in the Rocky Mountain District.
Thanks to MSHA’s Rocky Mountain District Office for continuing to participate in these informative and productive discussions!
