CSSGA Executive Director Update

Hello CSSGA members.  Summer is moving quickly with the warm temperatures.  September and Labor Day are just ahead, and beyond that is the fall season.  I hope you are enjoying this great weather while you can.

Here is what is going on at CSSGA.

• Governmental Affairs
  • ROCK PAC Contributions: As we are in an election year, we are very active with the ROCK PAC.  It is not too late to contribute, and I urge everyone to contribute to the ROCK PAC that we have established. Companies and individuals can contribute up the $550 towards the PAC, which enables us to support candidates that support our industry.

• Upcoming Events:
  • NRMCA’s ConcreteWorks: While this is with the National Ready Mixed Association, I am including it as this national group is meeting right here in Denver this fall.  It will be held at the Gaylord Hotel in Aurora September 29 – October 3 this year.  JT Mesite and I will be presenting on our CTAC program.  We are glad to be able to work with NRMCA and get the word out on our successful program.   Learn more about this valuable event or check out this video to see CRMCA’s promotion of the event!
  • Fall Networking Event: This is currently in the planning stages as we would like to have a Networking Event in Northern Colorado in Nov.  Look for more information to come out soon. 
  • The CSSGA/CRMCA Annual Conference will take place December 6 – 7 at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs. Look for details and registration soon.
