Findings from our Survey on Funding Roads

The Colorado Construction Industry Coalition (CCIC) is comprised of the Colorado Stone, Sand & Gravel Association, Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association, Colorado Asphalt Pavement Association, Colorado Contractors Association, and the Portland Cement Association – Rocky Mt. Chapter. The CRMCA is represented on the steering committee of the CCIC by Todd Ohlheiser. This summer the steering committee voted to hire a firm to conduct polling on transportation funding in Colorado. The polling data was recently released and we are happy to report that Colorado voters want something to be done about the roads!

CCIC members met with the Governor in early September to present the poll findings and he was very appreciative. We will continue to meet with elected leaders and potential coalition partners as we work toward finding a solution to Colorado’s infrastructure funding crisis.
