Division of Reclamation Mining, & Safety Update:
Minerals Program Supervisor, Tony Waldron, discussed the uptick in production throughout the state. The Division has noticed an increase and plans to the issuing more permits in the coming months.
Mined Land Reclamation Board Update:
The MLRB is scheduled to tour member company mine sites in the Denver Metro area on July 29. There will be approximately 25 people in attendance.

In an effort to create cohesion and understanding between the state regulatory agencies and the industry the committee plans to invite regulatory members to meetings quarterly.
The CDPHE’s WQD has been holding stakeholders on the subject of moving fees out of statute. CSSGA Lobbyist, Totsy Rees, has been participating in the process.
