CSA Presents an On-demand Webinar: Silica Train-the-Trainer
CRMCA and CSSGA teamed up with the Colorado Safety Association‘s Trish Ennis to bring this train the trainer session to you in on-demand format.
This on-demand webinar will provide safety professionals and leaders the tools to train employees about the hazards of silica, and the methods the employer has in place to protect employees from silica exposure. This program will provide training tips, employee training materials, and guidance on effective training.
The session includes:
- Why employers must train employees about silica hazards and the methods being used to limit their exposures to those hazards.
- Methods to ensure that employees can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of hazards, tasks, control measures, the OSHA standard, and the medical surveillance program.
Employee training materials will be in plain language, versus OSHA “compliance” language so that employees can relate to the terms and concepts. Resources included in this class include a PDF of the PPT and a facilitators guide to assist with training.
