June 2023 President’s Blog

Hello and I hope your summer is going well. Things have turned warmer here as I think the whole state has.

CSSGA is going to host the June board of directors meeting here in Grand Junction along with a joint, CRMCA and CSSGA raft trip in June. The weather has been beautiful and the river is running at a high level. I won’t be able to make the raft trip however it should be an enjoyable time.

Our committees continue their work and we appreciate your participation.

Here are the upcoming meetings and events:

• Governmental Affairs
  • Land Use & Environmental: Next meeting is on June 16^th at Brannan Sand & Gravel and on Zoom.
    
• Upcoming Events
• Summer Conference will be held in Vail on August 17-18 along with a free Summer Networking event on Friday evening.
• CRMCA/CSSGA Raft Trip will be in Grand Junction on June 20 with a reception to follow at Edgewater Brewery.
