Submit Your Application for the 2025 Gayle Lyman Memorial Scholarship Today!

Former Colorado Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (CSSGA) Board President, Gayle Lyman, was dedicated to supporting students pursuing degrees in or applicable to the aggregate, construction management, or mining industries.

The leadership of CSSGA is honored to offer a scholarship of up to $2,500 for the 2025-2026 academic year, in Mr. Lyman’s honor. 

The application must be completed and returned to CSSGA by Thursday, June 12.

Eligibility requirements for applicants:
Applicant must attend a post-secondary institution of higher education within the State of Colorado or attend a technical or trade school.
Applicant must have an emphasis or major in a mining, aggregate, or construction industry related field.
Applicant must be a student in good standing and a transcript must be provided with the application (cumulative GPA 3.0 or above is recommended).

All applications are due by June 12, 2025.

The CSSGA Board of Directors will select the scholarship finalist in June. The scholarship finalist will then be asked to attend a subsequent Board Meeting to formally receive recognition of the scholarship.
